Armored in aprons and wielding paintbrushes, brave young art explorers journey into a fairytale kingdom. Meet fantastical creatures, both spooky and sweet, while conjuring bedazzling art: Decorate wicked cool witch or wizard hats and sculpt clay witches on broomsticks! Design colorful ceramic skulls inspired by Dia De Los Muertos and paint unicorn or dragon banks. Craft monster t-shirts and create sparkling castles on canvas. Make hand puppet mermaids, vampires, fairies, werewolves, or any creature you can imagine. Build UFOs and sculpt clay aliens to fly them, construct haunted house boxes, and make metal robot art. Using some very magical potions and spells (i.e. materials and techniques), art-venturers experience painting, drawing, sculpting, stained glass, ceramics, fabric art, and more. Enchanting two and three dimensional masterpieces come home each week. Fun, fantasy-filled art-ventures! For kids in grades K-5.

Focus your practice on Tai Chi fundamentals, improved energy awareness and enhanced body-mind connection using more complex form movements, advanced qigong and other exercises. Pre-Requisite: one-and-a-half years’ experience or instructor’s permission.
Join this energizing practice for every level student! Music, movement and breath work to release stagnant energy and internal obstructions so you feel free in your body! Head out feeling recharged and back in control!

Yoga creates an opportunity for me to recover, reflect and rejuvenate! The moving meditation on my yoga mat helps both calm and inspire me. I hope to give the gift of yoga to all of my students. I became certified to teach yoga at Samadhi Yoga Studio in Manchester, CT in 2014 and have taught various classes in the quiet corner. I am also lucky enough to be an educator for Windham Public Schools; offering classes to our students and teachers. I have also worked with the sports teams at Windham High School and revel in their successes! I live and practice yoga in Willimantic, CT with my husband and puppy, Rosie. We have six grown children and two grandchildren. I bring my wisdom and life experience to every class and hope to see you on your mat!
