Come Join the Fun!
The Coventry Senior Center welcomes Seniors 60 years and older to enjoy a variety of social, educational and wellness programs. Join us for weekly recreational activities and instructional classes, monthly luncheons and health focused services, annual Tax Aid and Safe Driving Courses and events in collaboration with Coventry's Youth Services.

Seniors can also access several supportive resources through the Senior Center including a Fitness Room, CHOICES counseling (Connecticut's Health, Outreach, Information, Counseling & Eligibility Screening Program) and a Veteran's Advocate. There are no membership or entry fees required to participate.

The Senior Center is now open Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Senior YOGA!

Yoga has moved to FRIDAY AFTERNOONS! Join local instructor Anna Glowacki for a relaxing afternoon class! This class is specially designed for individuals of all abilities. Each class is $5,

Q&A with WRTD Representatives

On Monday September 25th at 11:30am the Coventry Senior Center will be welcoming representatives from the Windham Regional Transit District to answer ALL your questions about the Dial-a-Ride service. We know that there have been concerns expressed regarding the service provided by Dial- a-Ride and this is your chance to voice your opinion!

Lunches with MACC!

The Senior Center is excited to announce a new partnership with MACC (Manchester Area Conference of Churches) Community Catering (MACCchefs!! MACC is a Manchester based on-profit that was founded in 1943 to serve the serve the community and help families break the cycle of poverty. Their MACCChefs Program is an intensive, hands-on culinary and hospitality training program to help individuals in the community find long-term sustainable employment. MACCchefs has recently begun serving daily meals at the Manchester Senior Center, and has agreed to bring meals out here to Coventry! We are looking forward to having them serve a meal on Wednesday Oct. 11th at NOON. Please RSVP by FRIDAY OCTOBER 6th

MENU: Chicken Parmigiana, Pasta with Tomato Sauce & Parmesan, Seasonal Vegetable, Garden Salad with House Dressing & Fresh Fruit Dessert.

COST: $7.00

We are always updating our mailing list. Please call us at 860-742-3525 to let us know if you would like to receive our monthly mailing, if you no longer wish to receive one, or if you would prefer to receive one via email.

Do you have a special talent, hobby, or forte you’d like to share? We are always looking to add programs and welcome your suggestions for guest speakers and/or instructors to lead workshops at our Senior Center. Topics could include, but are not limited to, art, music, local history, gardening, and more. A beautiful lakefront facility and a guaranteed fun-loving audience await you.
