The Town Clerk serves the Coventry community under the guidance of the General Statutes of the State of Connecticut.  The clerk is responsible for; administering elections, filing and maintaining all land records, maps, vital statistics, agendas and minutes of all Boards and Commissions, registering veterans’ discharges, trade name certificates, liquor permits and Notary Public appointments and issuing sports and dog licenses.

  2009 LICENSES ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE!

 

OPENING DAY OF FISHING SEASON IS

APRIL 18, 2009.

CONNECTICUT RESIDENT LICENSES CAN BE PURCHASED FOR $20.  NON-RESIDENT LICENSES ARE $40 FOR THE SEASON OR $16 FOR A 3-DAY PASS.

 

  All sports licenses are available in the Town Clerk's office during regular business hours.  For answers to specific  questions or to download forms on-line, visit the State of Connecticut - DEP at www.ct.gov/dep or call 860-295-9523. 

 

Did you know that hunting and fishing licenses expire on December 31st of each year?  Check to be sure your license is current.
